Well Now, It Has Been Quite A Hot Minute Since My Last Blog Hasn’t It?!
I cannot even deal with the fact it’s been almost a year since my last blog! I mean, honestly, that's a long time to be missing me, bless you! A-Tee-A-Hee!
If you follow me on social media, you will know this year I have dedicated my time to caring for my darling Mama, my bestie, my partner in all things Christmas and tinsel tickling!
The whole family, my brothers and children, my grandson and Aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, even people I’ve not even met but have adored Mama through my socials, have delivered all the love in the world, and some, to support and lift Mama as she battles this dagnamit dreadful C..... I cannot even bear to give “it” an announcement on the same stage as our Queen!
I don’t want to fill my first blog this year with sadness but share the happy times we’ve had this year in creating the stories that make us all smile.
And so…. moving on with love…. 🥰
Allow Me To Tell You What's Coming Next In The Santa's Button Books Collection!
With the above now said, I can share that while Mama was resting these past months, I decided to rewrite the final edition of The ELF.B.I series. I wanted the new story to capture the love of Christmas and the togetherness cherished by families like mine around the world during the most magical time of year. I worked tirelessly whenever I could to make sure Mama would be proud and truly feel part of the enchanting adventures of Belle and Santa, the duo she helped me create from the start.
Let me tell you, this was an enormous undertaking driven by pure love, dedication and the desire to make the final edition in the Santa's Button Books Collection something quite extraordinary! Examining illustrations at 3am with weary eyes was more difficult than coaxing a reindeer into a Mini Cooper! However, I am thrilled to announce that "The ELF.B.I and Santa Save Grandma’s Christmas Day ~ First Edition" is set for release on 16th October 2025 and is now available for pre-order! Indeed, get ready for the final epic adventure filled with holiday cheer and the infamous mishaps and scrapes that Belle and Santa are known for!
Both Mama and I have spent our time like enthusiastic kids, admiring the amazing illustrations once more crafted by Mitchell Illustrations and the delightful Joshua Mitchell. We couldn't help but "ooh" and "aah" over how absolutely-fabaroonie-pull-a-moonie they are!
The newest ELF.B.I holiday escapade is packed with all the humor, surprises, and challenges that Belle and Santa typically face, while delivering a touching message about Christmas, family, and the happiness of being together during this magical season. I'm sure this tale will warm your hearts and create cozy festive feelings as you cuddle up with your little ones to enjoy.

So, What's Next Beyond The Santa's Button Books Collection?
Well, of course Hullabazoodle 1872 has been confirmed for release on 16th March 2026, giving The ELF.B.I and Santa Save Grandma’s Christmas Day centre stage this year. For those that have followed me from my early years as a children's author, you will know from submission of the manuscript to publication, the adventure both Meneer and I have been on to make this spectacular kiddie thriller, will have spanned more than four years! But, as they say, perfection needs a tweak or two, right? The illustrations for Hullabazoodle 1872 are truly remarkable, highlighting the incredible skills of Chanoma Studios, and we're not just saying that because they promised us gifts!
Illustrations That Will Make You Go "OOO!"
The illustrations are absolutely stunning! They're so intricate that you might find yourself lost in them, looking for hidden treasures from one of the most intriguing periods in history. With touches of the Victorian era, Hullabazoodle 1872 is ideal for children and families to sharpen their observational skills and appreciate the incredible level of detail. This doesn't even cover the sheer brilliance infused to craft some of the most extraordinary characters! Just keep in mind, if you spot a tin spinning-top, it's not a clue; it's just the work of a very enthusiastic illustrator!

Who knows where Hullabazoodle 1872 will lead me. Honestly, the prospect of what's ahead fills me with thrilling anticipation! What I can say is that the unmatched talents of illustrators and animators at Chanoma Studios, once the book is released, have brilliant ideas to take the story and characters even further, and I'm fully committed to exploring the possibilities with them! Maybe to a world of big screens and red carpets! One thing is certain: it’s going to be an exhilarating journey, and we’re all in for an incredible Hullabazoodle adventure!
